This policy covers the KOLO information and download website maintained by hblabs. It does not cover the KOLO desktop or mobile apps, or a hosted or self-hosted sync server; those are separate services.
What this website does
You can read about KOLO, view demo screenshots and download promotional assets without an account. This website has no signup, contact form, payment form, advertising, analytics scripts or tracking pixels. It does not read or upload your shop’s sales, stock, customer records or backups.
Requests to the website host
To deliver a page or file, the server receives technical information such as your IP address, the requested URL, the request time and browser information sent with the request. The host may keep access or security logs for delivering the website, diagnosing problems and protecting it from abuse.
This website is self-hosted on a server operated by hblabs. Any access or security logs remain on that hosting infrastructure. The retention period is determined by the server configuration; contact us for details about hosting logs.
Your language preference
When you select English or French, the website stores that choice in your browser under kolo-landing-language. It contains only en or fr, is not sent to a server by this website’s JavaScript, and stays until you clear it. See the cookie policy for the full details and a removal button.
Downloads and external websites
Fonts, screenshots and any locally supplied video are served by this website. The website does not load embedded social-media or video players.
App downloads, source code and documentation link to GitHub. Opening these links sends a request to GitHub or its download infrastructure, which has its own privacy practices. Release information is fetched by the maintainer when rebuilding the site, not by your browser.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can remove the saved language preference using the cookie-policy button or your browser’s site-data settings. You can also block local storage; the language-specific pages remain usable.
